From your own Ancestry, 23andMe, or MyHeritage account, download the raw DNA file (.txt / .csv / .zip). You bring that file — we never take your login, and we never scrape. Steps differ slightly by vendor; kit waits also differ.

How to get your raw file

Claim-safe: you download from your own account. GeneMap never asks for Ancestry, 23andMe, or MyHeritage logins and never scrapes those sites.

AncestryDNA — Sign in → DNA → Settings / DNA data → download raw DNA data (.txt or .zip).
23andMe — Sign in → Settings → 23andMe Data (or Resources → Browse Raw Genotyping Data) → request/download Raw Data (.zip with .txt). Preparation can take days.
MyHeritage — Sign in → DNA → Manage DNA kits → kit menu → Download → confirm via email (.csv or .zip). Link is time-limited.

Kit waits differ by vendor. Prefer the raw genotype download — not ancestry-composition summaries.
